One of the sketches that have been rotting away in my numerous half-empty and unloved sketchbooks (sorry, fellahs). This was completely self-indulgent -- we all know how I love to draw crazy, impractical hair.
The anatomy's probably a bit off, as is the lighting (check out the varying shines on her hair-baubles ) & gravity (ribbon?), but I was aiming to execute this spontaneously. I was after something sultry and feminine.
Scanned in, touched up & coloured. Didn't take very long. Figured it looked cool as a wallpaper, so I've zipped up a few resolutions for you to download if you so desire.

pink and messy. by ~ravenskar is a fantastic mixture of kitchy fun and flowing aesthetic style. This traditional medium transferred into a wallpaper is sure to keep you admiring its sleek composition every time your eyes meet your desktop. (Featured by `allhopeislost)
wow, great job!!!! The shading, especially on her face, is terrific! and it was given a daily deviation, so there can't have been that many things wrong with it
