Artist's Comments

drawn for *Ginjirou, because she (and *jincy) bought me a subscription earlier this year out of the utter kindness of her heart -- and i squandered the three months away by producing absolutely nothing as i had an artblock and was too busy. :\

this is her character Juno, a blonde with spunk -- loads of it, bebbeh. check out the original here (complete with a character model sheet!).

her hair was oodles and noodles of fun to draw -- but oh, how i love to draw hair! i got kinda carried away with this one and as a result, i really kinda like this! :) i think i have a renewed appreciation for halftones.

JUNO BELONGS TO GINJIROU, NOT ME.

so thank-you & sorry, *Ginjirou! take a squiz at her gallery -- she draws MAGNIFICENT lips (so i had lot of pressure to make Juno's look delish).

(my gift for jincy here.)

I really love her eyes and mouth the most... gorgeous! Hair is one of my favorite things to draw, too...I have to be careful not to get carried away.

LOL. settle, petal. in opencanvas, when you use a brush just click on 'tone' option. the little square with dots on it will light up, and then every brush stroke thereafter will be the dot pattern (or whatever pattern you've selected). this is for my version of OC, not sure about the others.

in photoshop, not sure how you do 'em either.. but there's always the manual way of finding a dotted texture and layering it on. :)

try googling about it or somethin', i'm sure a tutorial will crop up.
