My second piece for Santa's Workshop, a project where the elves granted over 1000 wishes without receiving anything in return. <3

This is ~KiaRyou's character, Kurara Kanzaki. I read somewhere that she's supposed to be a hitman (hitgirl?) with her bow & arrows (...but I could be really wrong), so I wanted to add a little underlying spark to her schoolgirl innocence.

Her hair was a bucketload of fun!

That is very cool, and somehow stylish. It has a very Kill Bill vibe to it, or perhaps even No More Heroes (Nintendo Wii game - crazy Japanese stylish stuff).

The lighting is really good, it adds an intensity to the piece that is a bit hard to describe. The girl looks very innocent except as you described, the eyes. The eyes alone have some kinda, I dunno, agenda behind them. Considering you mentioned that this character is an assassin, it makes perfect sense and is quite subtle but at the same time, obvious.

The texture around the piece is very interesting, gives it an on canvas feel. What did you do for the texture?
