For ~skydestinies and ~phillis' Card Project, DEVIL: Deck of Evil.
And also, on the side, for my own Raven Revival Project.
The one I'll be sending in won't have the watermark on her tum, nor will it have the mamma-fat JOKER signs on the side.
So, after much consideration, I ended up choosing the blonde hair (from this selection) - so I could have a yellow and purple combination. Though red was the most popular choice, I felt it was too cliché, too obvious, and too common. And since she IS the Black Joker, after all, I wanted to keep red to a minimum. Purple was the second most popular, but I felt it was too strong in her hair. I'm quite happy with the choice. Thanks HEAPS to everyone who contributed on the hair-colour-thingo.
The reason there are so many stars is that the star symbol was typically associated with the Joker [Card] back in medieval times. It still is on some cards, too.
This took probably.. well. At least over 10 hours, and at most -- man. 20? 25? I lost count, really. I didn't feel like that long, but in retrospect, it was probably ages. Worked on this over a span of perhaps a month, a bit every few days. I had some crazy fun drawing this, and designing her outfit. Also, this is the first full-coloured, full-bodied, full-backgrounded picture I've done for SO LONG. AND -- the first full-coloured, full-bodied picture I've ever done of Raven in my life.
Critique is welcome, but since I worked my tiny asian arse off with this, I may not be bothered making any changes to the picture (unless it's absolutely pertinent). And a note; that black thing you see sticking out of her butt? Yeah, that's not a tail, that's the end of her scythe. She's actually SITTING on her scythe, so -- yeah. No tail.
Fin.

Absolutely stunning. I saw this on your LJ before here, but let me reiterate exactly HOW much I adore this. This looks practically PERFECT to me, from the last I've seen, you've improved so much on this picture alone. The coloring is STUNNING and the posing looks GREAT (all the awkwardness seems to have gone away now that you colored it.)
hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhoooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooly! This came out so awesome! let me count the ways
1. the colors used are absolutely gorgeous. they look very nice together.
2. look at the wonderful pose so filled with movement
3. she's sitting on a scythe friggin awesome!
4. her legs look shiny with your madd shadding skillz. I love
5. those're friggin pretty boots
6. + 1000 points for overall coolness.
