PINKITUDE. To me, it's an attitude. It's about holding yourself with confidence, being happy in your own skin, & standing out without being self-conscious. It's about idiosyncrasy, sensuality, sexuality & love. It's about being you & being happy with who you are.
-- Well. This was done for the Pinkitude 2008 contest, but I somehow missed the deadline by a minute.  It doesn't matter -- I didn't want to enter it to win, I wanted to enter it to spread the word & raise awareness for the cause. Anyway, I know her hand is retarded, lol. And that the background sucks. And etc, etc. I didn't have time to fix it/anything else.Extremely stressful two & a half hour speedpaint. -- OpenCanvas3.03ePLUS Adobe Photoshop CS3 Wacom Intuos2 Tablet 2-3 hour speedpaint. (Remember her?) Comments I love how she's rocking her hair!

The detail is amazing. Especially in the head and neck regions. The dress is amazing. The only thing I'd add to this is more lines in the actual hair-do. Since you spent the extra time to draw the single strays hairs(which look awesome). But hey, this is better than what I could do. So what I say doesn't really mean anything. -- Well I carry this box to the proper place And when I lower it down I let it you fade away I hope that you would do this for me I’d serve you drugs on a silver plate If I thought it would help you get away I hope that you would do this for me  because he hair looks soo cool!

(And did you really mean to set it to advanced critique? Hmm. Watch your ear sizes, it is easy to draw them too small sometimes.) Yeah, I drew those stray hairs because they're extremely quick to do, since they're so arbitrary. Drawing lines within the hair would've taken more deliberation & time, something I didn't have with me. :\
But if I get around to fixing this up, I'll definitely fix up the hair so that it's a nice level of detail. Thanks for your comment!  -- ego si relapsus resurgo. Yeah I really did.
Seeing as I didn't make it into the competition, I guess I'm free to fix the picture up whenever, now. () But I think I'm going to set all my comments to advanced critique from now on. And thank-you, lovely! YES, the ear is far too small. No wonder it bothered me. Should be easy to fix. -- ego si relapsus resurgo. |
