Ohoho. So this is the final panel of my piece. This took the least amount of time to complete, as it was a purely spontaneous sort of thing. There was no sketching prior to the actual painting process. The lines were done in black ink with a calligraphy pen, dried, and then painted over with diluted acrylics.

I love ink.

I actually wanted to use watercolour, but since the art room didn't supply it, I mixed water with acrylic paint instead. It gave off the same effect (I think), so I was happy. Um, my second ever try with a watercolour-like medium. So, yes, I know it's pretty basic stuff, but it turned out sort of pretty (from afar). I like it, I think.

Seeing as this was scanned in before I added the final touches with white ink, I used some brushes in Photoshop to add that effect. So -- it's much more traditional art oriented.
