I am happy. But also heinously exhausted. After some much needed rest, food consumption and wild frolicking, I'll be ready to launch myself (head first) into commissions, art & livestreaming. I'll probably be chillinzZ on my blog in the meantime. I also have the intense desire to do nothing at all for a few days.

ART FOR THE WORLD

Pre-orders are now open for Art for the World, a charity artbook featuring a collection of pieces from forty-two different artists (including myself). All the proceeds will be forwarded to both the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the ARTS: A Reason To Survive Organization.

WEEKLY ART COMP

The Weekly Art Comp is a site dedicated to hosting weekly art competitions. Basically you pay a $2 entry fee & upload your artwork into one of the categories (currently Traditional and Digital Art). By the end of the week, a winner will be chosen in each category and each will receive a prize of half of the sum of entry fees for that particular category. Example: 25 people submit an artwork for the 'digital art' category. The winner that category would be awarded $25 that week.

Here's the website. Take a squiz if you can, and spread the word. The more people that enter, the greater the prize money will be! Plus, I think it's a good incentive to keep yourself actively creating artwork.
